The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is an American fraternal order and social club founded in 1868. It is one of the leading fraternal orders in the U.S., claiming nearly one million members. Chartered in 1946 we wELKome you to Auburn Lodge #1691 (B.P.O.E. #1691). This Lodge proudly serves Auburn and the surrounding areas of Cool, Foresthill, Loomis, Penyrn, Rocklin, Roseville, Colfax, Dutch Flat, Alta and the communities of the Sierras.

Auburn Lodge is dedicated to the betterment of our community through our charitable endeavors.

Elks offers many Scholarships, including the Most Valued Scholar which can award up to $40,000 per scholar.

Auburn Elks has offered Grants to the Community including Veteran's services, Stand-Up, VA Hospital visitations and Luncheons, the Inter Faith Food Bank, Sight Word Busters, Junior Livestock Auction, Treats for Troops. We give Service to Families, Youth and Veterans.

Thanks to our over 800 members' volunteer efforts, we have generated millions in funds for veterans, youth, and the community. Through our California Hawaii Elks Association Major Project Elks assist children and families with speech, vision, hearing and physical disabilities by sending therapists free of charge to assist.
