Located at the end of North Avenue, where the Winooski River meets Lake Champlain, lies one of the best kept secrets in Burlington, Charlie's Boathouse.

During the summer, the boathouse, covered with nostalgic relics from time gone by, is bustling with activity. A variety of music can be heard playing from the juke box inside (40 and 50s tunes and traditional German polka - Charlie's favorite), bicyclists, families, fisherman and tourists alike all congregate on the shady front lawn, engaged in conversation with Lake Champlain and the lofty peaks of the Adirondacks in the background.
