Aultman Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists partner with the region’s obstetricians in the care of high risk pregnancies. Aultman Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians also work hand-in-hand with neonatologists (physicians specializing in medical care of newborn infants) who attend to Aultman Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Newborn and mother’s care team are housed under one roof as part of the Aultman Family Birth Center to coordinate care at the beginning stages of life.
