Austin A."Tony" Adams, MD

I grew up in East Tennessee and graduated from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. I then started my career as a microbiologist. I worked in this field for several years before attending medical school in Nashville at Meharry Medical College, where I graduated with honors and also trained. I have always practiced in Rutherford County — first in Murfreesboro, but since 1999, I have had a solo practice in Smyrna.

We have always maintained a setting where patients feel care, compassion, and concern as opposed to only being "medically managed." Our patients can expect to be treated respectfully, ethically, and professionally. We are able to care for the vast majority of primary medical issues you or your family member may have. In the event a specialist's care is needed, we will take care of the referral from beginning to end. Nearly all specialists are represented within blocks of our clinic.

Specialists can also be found inside or outside our county. We are always mindful of one's insurance carrier and network recommendations. Furthermore, we take great pride in making sure all financial aspects are taken care of properly, including the billing of your insurance.
