Authentic Life Ministries

Hi we are a family of 5, I am Victor Lott and have been married to my beautiful wife of 12 years Chloe Lott. We have 3 amazing, smart children Jackson (9), Ethan (7) and Kinsley (5). I have had a calling to ministry since i was 7 years old. For the longest time i ran from God and my calling only to find myself every time turning back to him. At the age of 17 i was leading a youth group in a small local church and knew i was doing what the Lord called me to do. In 2003 I was deployed to Afghanistan and my life changed forever. Upon returning from deployment i struggled with PTSD, depression, suicidal thoughts etc. I started drinking to handle life. In 2005 when Chloe and I became married my life once again changed. In 2007 the birth of our first child was a major wake up call. In 2008 I once again started working with a local church and over time became the youth minister as well as preached several times while being at the church. In 2011 our life came tumbling down around us. I was laid off from Active Duty Military and the Church we was out decided to not support us anymore. I once again turned away from God and decided i would not follow his calling. In 2013 I found myself once again Deployed overseas. During this deployment I found the meaning of being Authentic. I learned that you must be willing to forgive not just those who have done wrong to you, but you must be willing to forgive yourself. See God forgives us when we ask and he moves on the old is gone and the new has come. Once you learn to forgive yourself you learn to start being authentic in faith but most importantly in Life. These go hand in hand with each other because you cant be authentic in one or the other. We all have been created equal no matter color, sex, religion, etc. We must start living authentically in our lives and faith and come together as Christians and proclaim the name of the Lord.
