Using the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), the highly trained staff at ABS will improve your child/adolescent's behavior by utilizing a combination of positive reinforcement, environmental modification, individualized behavior plans, and data collection systems to both accurately measure progress and unearth problem areas. In addition, parents of children attending ABS will also be provided ABA training to use in their homes and maintain a consistent approach benefiting their child in all settings.

Another hallmark of ABS is using ABA to encourage social interactions and foster relationships. All too often, young children with behavioral and developmental challenges are left far behind when it comes to one of life's most simple-but-important joys: making friends. Children served by ABS will be taught the skills necessary to make and keep friends prior to entering school to fitting in during middle and high school.
