We strive to find people the best prices on parts they need for their vehicles, etc. Still family owned under a 3rd and soon to be 4th generation of dedicated, honest and professional Idahoans that strive to offer the customer extremely competitive pricing. Originally known as The Singing Car Dealer originated in 1953 and was operated by Aarons grandfather and grandmother Bob & Margaret Mockwitz (1st generation) of Garden City, ID. Bob Mockwitz was known for his passion of singing and piano playing. He was so well known for his car lot radio adds that he even caught the eye of Bing Crosby. He provided for his next of kin by allowing reasonable good running cars and pick ups for the general public at affordable prices. Sons, Ben & Bobby Mockwitz and daughters, Ann & Holly Mockwitz also found interest in the operation of the family business. Their sister Cathy sang in quite a few of the radio adds. Ben Mockwitz currently operates Marvelous Motors in the original location in Garden City (2nd generation). Bobby Mockwitz owned and operated The Car Port in Garden City and several others until his passing in 2000. Holly has since passed in 2013 and Ann has retired. Aaron, son of Ann Mockwitz, was born into the family profession and helped Bob and Ben to run TheSinging Car Dealer and to carry on this great family tradition. Singing Car Dealer (without THE) was created in 2004 and sprung the branch of sales. After a trip to Northern Idaho in 2012 we fell in love with the area and the community. After working through several difficult obstacles, the dream finally became a reality at the end of 2014 just in time for Thanksgiving, which was a wonderful thing to be thankful for. If it wasn't for the great efforts from the new friends in the community, we might not have been able to establish a place of business so quickly. I am grateful to have a wonderful place to be able to raise our 4 children and to continue to carry on the legacy that Bob left behind.
