Auto Shop Toolbox was an idea started in Portland, OR when Shayla Wilson realized the high demand for specialized staffing coverage in automotive repair facilities. Working at multiple shops showed that this industry is greatly affected when employees leave for vacation, get injured on the job, or have temporary leave for any reason. Focusing on smaller automotive businesses is vital to help our community to continue to grow successful locally-owned businesses.

Shayla Wilson founded Auto Shop Toolbox. She is an ASE Certified automotive technician with 5 years of experience in that portion of this industry. Shayla has since increased her skill base to be knowledgeable in all operations of an Independent Automotive repair facility. A total of 10 years of experience she has covered positions from shop clean-up to Service Manager. Increasing profit, customer satisfaction, and employee morale is her highest priority.
