The Avenue Bistro was opened in 1998 and has been a staple to the Toledo-Sylvania Ohio restaurant scene. After remodeling, in the early part of 2006, the owners embarked on the all new Avenue Bistro. Our clientele has continue to build, and the Avenue is the hot spot for out of town guests to Northwest Ohio. With plenty of seating the Avenue Bistro has a contemporary look and feel -- clubby and traditional, but not at all pompous.

The restaurant has sought after and achieved a very metropolitan, New York-chophouse atmosphere. And though the Avenue has warm, cozy quiet corners, booths tables, it's not meant to be, nor is it always, quiet and romantic. There is an energy apparent inside, a charge that is busy and exciting. In keeping with its sophisticated format and upscale feel, but there is never a hint of stuffiness.

The live entertainment sounds set the mood for the dinner experience and a drink at the bar every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The professional staff and upscale service compliment the award-winning food. Many guests return time and again for the exclusive specialty menu with Fresh Fish and Our Signature Lobster Bisque Soup. Guests also rave about the jumbo shrimp cocktail and our fabulous wine list.
