The Avon Foundation for Women, which leads Avon's global philanthropy, is an accredited 501(c)(3) public charity in the United States that was founded in 1955 to improve the lives of women and their families. The Avon Foundation brings this mission to life through two key areas of focus: breast cancer research and access to care through the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade; and efforts to reduce domestic and gender violence through the Speak Out Against Domestic Violence program. Avon is proud to be the largest corporate supporter of the breast cancer cause globally, with programs in 50 countries donating more than $815 million for research and advancing access to care, regardless of a person’s ability to pay.

Avon raises funds for breast cancer and domestic violence through the sale of special fundraising products by Avon Sales Representatives, and through events such as the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer series.
