Awakening Arts Paint Parties

Are you interested in hosting a fun night for your friends? Consider having an Awakening Arts Paint Party in your home! Please read through to determine if a paint party is right for you, what to expect, cost, and preparations.

How many guests should you invite?
This is really personal preference. I can accommodate up to 40 guests and in some cases more. Smaller groups are easier to maintain and easier for me to help those who need an extra hand. If you are worried about space rest easy. Anywhere we can set up a table top easel is fine. We can use kitchen counters, end tables, folding tables, etc. A minimum of ten guests is needed to book a successful party.
What to Tell Your Guests:
The cost is $30 per person. This covers cost of materials and instructional lesson. Cash/Checks accepted. No need to pay prior to the event as some might not be able to attend last minute.
What I need from you:
I will need an accurate head count closer to the date so I can prepare supplies. I will need you to send me some ideas of things you might like to paint. If you cannot seem to find anything on pinterest, internet, or from other resources I will be happy to send you some samples.
How you can prepare:
You won’t need to do much to prepare. You will need to set up an area in your home where we can paint. A dining room table is good. We can even use kitchen counters, end tables, really anywhere that we can set up a table top easel is fine. If you are worried about paint spills you can cover your floor with plastic bags, table cloths, or drop cloths. However, please keep in mind that the paints are very controlled. I will be the only one distributing paint and only certain amounts for certain sections. I see more wine spills than paint spills. I will bring all other supplies. If you are thinking of providing snacks for your guests just keep in mind that we will be “working” most of the time and won’t want to get our painted hands in bowls of food. Simple light snacks (pretzels, crackers) are fine and more than enough. We will be busy. You can ask your guests to bring their own bottles if you do not want to provide wine/alcohol for everyone. Keep it simple. No stress.
What to Expect:
Expect to feel like an artist. Expect to feel a little nervous at first. Expect to enjoy yourself. Expect to feel pride and excitement as you unleash the wild ART within you!
