The Primer Outdoor Venue in Central Texas. Back Porch of Texas is now available to book your private engagements, weddings, and corporate events. The Back Porch of Texas is also home to Outlaws & Legends Music Festival, held every March and benefitting Ben Richey Boys Ranch.
Conveniently located off of I-20 and Hwy. 277 just north of downtown Abilene, the Back Porch of Texas has 93 acres, a 2-story pavilion, 32ft X 46ft covered stage, an 8,000 sq. ft. concrete dance floor nestled under large pecan trees, 20+ acres of north event parking, 14 acres of RV parking, 4.8 acres of general seating, 8 acres of VIP parking, and two box suite picnic areas.
