Backyard Mary

In 2010 we were in search of the Best Bloody Mary in Town! Our quest included Supermarkets, Liquor Stores, Restaurants, Farmers Markets, Tailgates, and yes Local Bars! We had come across a few mixes that we had like but to our dismay when we went back, the Bloody Mary didn't taste the same. We had notice the inconsistency in bars and restaurants between the bartenders, they may have had the same ingredients but for some reason they didn't make it the same way. The bottle mixes we had found in stores and liked were no longer available.
Out of frustration we decided to research several mixes and destined to make our own consistent and tasty Bloody Mary Mix with a nice "Kick!" We had gathered a mass amount of spices along with Tomato Juice, Worcestershire, Lemon Juice, Tabasco, and Horseradish. Six months later we came up with a Mix that has 8 different spices with a kicker that maintains a consistent taste. Our next step was to have our neighbors try it and seek their opinion, and it was an overwhelming success. Every time our garage door was open our neighbors were not shy to stop and order a Backyard Mary. During the month of December, in appreciation of our neighbors, we would place a jar of Backyard Mary on their doorstep as a thankful gesture.
My wife and I enjoyed having Backyard Mary as the best bloody Mary in town. This gave us the motivation and determination to market Backyard Mary and bring it to your community as the Best Bloody Mary Mix around. First, we had to think of an appropriate name.
We basically came up with the mix in our own backyard hence the name "Backyard Mary". Next was how to bottle it, and we thought what better way to keep the mix homemade than with a 32 oz Mason Jar. Our first potential customers would be thru our friends on the social network which covered North America. To this date we still get great feedback from our customers.
We also wanted to incorporate our dogs as the mascots for Backyard Mary so you will notice bone font on our jars and 3 different sizes that are named after them. Chi Chi-32 oz, Jupiter-64 oz, and Goliath-128 oz. And that was how Backyard Mary came about.
