Clients ask me a lot, “What made you want to get into the fitness industry?”
I’ve been 40 pounds underweight, and 40 pounds overweight and it’s taken me a long time to finally find a balance where I am happy and healthy, and I don’t want my clients to have to struggle like I did. My job is to show you how to change your mindset, break your goals down into bite-sized pieces, make sure you start at a place that is right for you and make it easy to achieve, so that you can finally get to where you want your body, health and mind to be.
Today, I love my body. I move better, I eat healthier and I “indulge” when I feel like it, without starting an avalanche of binge eating. It started with self love, and now it’s just habitual. I hardly think about it. Eating right and working out feels natural and easy, and doesn’t leave me feeling discouraged. With a healthy dose of self-kindness, I do what’s right for me and I feel successful every time I achieve just a little bit more than I did yesterday.
