Balcones Springs Stables

Balcones Springs Stables was born in 2016 as the name for the year-round horseback riding lesson program at Camp Balcones Springs, which was established in 1993.

THE PROGRAM

Western and English riding lessons are offered on our beautiful property in Marble Falls, TX and are available to riders of all ages and skill levels. Lessons are tailored to each rider's goals and are offered in a group, semi-private, or private setting. Group trail rides are also available. THE INSTRUCTOR

Equestrian Director Ashlyn Brandenburg is a CHA-certified riding instructor in both English and Western riding and is an experienced trail guide. She received a B.S. in Animal Science and an Equine Science Certificate from Texas A&M University in August of 2016 and has been at Camp Balcones Springs full-time ever since.

THE HORSES

Balcones Springs Stables at Camp Balcones Springs is home to 15 amazing horses. These horses are used for education, lessons, trail rides, and everything in between. Lesson horses are selected for each individual rider based on compatibility. Our horses are well cared for and LOVE their jobs!
