Bald Mountain Volunteer Fire Department

The Bald Mountain Volunteer Fire Department provides fire prevention, suppression, and emergency medical services to approximately 8,975 acres (14 square miles) to the Pine Ridge Mile High and Meadow Lakes area and is located generally north of Highway 168 and southwest of Shaver Lake.

The Bald Mountain Fire Department works in cooperation with the Auberry, Shaver Lake, Pine Ridge Volunteer Fire Departments, CAL Fire and the Forest Service.
