Ballet Folklorico Moyocoyani Izel

Our Name - Moyocoyani Izel comes from the native Aztec tongue: Nahuatl. “MOYOCOYANI” was a nickname given to the Aztec God, Tezcatlipoca; and means one who invented/created himself. The second part of our name "IZEL" is a Nahuatl word meaning unique. Together we decided that one who created himself unique is a great representation of who we are and to honor our past as well as our future by adopting Moyocoyani Izel as the name of our group.
