We are friends, neighbors, innovators, collaborators, lovers and jokesters that are passionate about great beer, food, cocktails, music, art and fun experiences. We will brew many unique beers, focusing on quality ales and lagers and hope our humble pursuit of great beer will lead us to "Somewhere North of Ordinary."

We love Bangor and wanted to bring something unique to Bangor. We believe innovative ideas, great ingredients, passion, expertise and some of the best water in Maine will make for excellent beer. We hope to explore a wide variety of styles, hops and ingredients putting our own unique twist on both classic and contemporary styles. We won’t limit ourselves with any hard set rules, just aim for the best beer we can make with a focus on continual improvement, creativity and evolution. We want to be real... with our craft, our communication and our experience.

Our commitment to quality will extend to the great food our family has been known for since 1978 at the Jade. We hope our food is an attraction in it’s own right, with new rotating pub food fares that compliment our beers. We’ll be one of the first east coast Brewpubs to feature topnotch sushi, wok-fired Chinese food, as well as unique American, international and Asian-inspired Brew pub fare.

We are making our Brewpub a family-friendly and adult playground to let out the big kid in us all. It includes a fun outdoor patio and fire pit, games, giant Jenga, cornhole and an area for concerts, DJs and music events. We wanted to create a fun, welcoming brewpub with lots to do and the inside features shuffleboard, board games, a small arcade, a premier sound system and upscale piano room.

The Lo family, who has been a local pillar in the restaurant industry for 38+ years, has decided to partner with brewing experts and has brought on head brewer, Jared Lambert, an avid brewer in the Bangor scene. We will open soon to the general public and will feature other great local and craft beers and in August we will start brewing our own fresh beer.
