Barbara Gustavson is president and founder of Discover Next Step, a company that equips women to live more boldly, get clear on their calling and pay it forward.

Barbara has worked with women in her coaching programs and workshops – where she guides them to discover their purpose and step boldly into who they were created to be while staying centered.

After 13 years of being a government contractor and working in a cubicle, Barbara followed her own calling to live her life with meaning and provide a deeper level of service to other women who are ready to discover and embrace their journey of growth. “I went from being a wall flower to helping women play ‘full out’ in their lives,” she says. “Life has a whole new meaning for me since I took a leap of faith and decided to give back to myself for a change.”

Barbara provides one-on-one coaching, vision retreats and workshops. She is a Founding Member and Executive Director with the John Maxwell Team. She has shared the stage with John C. Maxwell and has co-led his Transformational Leadership Awards for 4+ years.
