Perfectly Imperfect.
The things I make are made from pallet wood. Pallet wood is wood that is not suitable to sell as lumber, imperfect. I embrace imperfection because I am imperfection. I "play" with the wood some to make my life a little easier when putting the things I make together. But I leave it alone to a large degree. You will find nail holes and sometimes nails, cracks, wood that is not level and is a little twisty and some knots. The wood has also weathered to different levels in our beautiful outdoors. Like I said I embrace the imperfections of the pallet wood I use. I also love that I am using something that would be considered at the end of its lifespan. With all this said I consider the things I make to be perfectly imperfect.
