Barn Gypsies

The popular First Friday antique shopping in Kansas City’s West Bottoms goes to the country at the Barn Gypsies' Barn Sale and Outdoor Show. Local antique dealers Teressa Ford and Carolyn Peterson are starting their 5th season in a turn of the century refurbished barn located on the Ford family farm located one mile east of Hamilton at 6896 NE Spring Hill Rd. Our second season opens the last weekend in April, Friday - Sunday, April 29- May 1.

The Gypsies, Carolyn and Teressa, have been in antique retail since the early 90's. Carolyn has been a certified appraiser for over 25 years and Teressa specializes in repurposing furniture and lighting. We like to call our look - Romantic Praire Style - a great mix of styles and taste from the 1880’s to 1980’s – antiques, vintage items & retro goods. We've spent the winter months gathering new (old!) vintage and shabby chic decor just for you!

Along with the once a month antiques and collectibles shopping venue, the Gypsies host an outdoor fleatique featuring antiques, Missouri arts and crafts and "Made from Scratch" food wagon.
