A little more about us.

Bartlett Babies was started by two sister in laws who are both stay at home mommies who both suffer from anxiety and depression. Painting was an escape. It started with Shani painting rocks here and there as a way to teach her little ones kindness after being inspired by #TheKindnessRocksProject. Being so excited about this, and how it was helping her calm down after a long & stressful day, Shani shared this with Katy and she too was inspired. So much so, she decided that she wanted to take her love of art beyond just rocks and came up with the idea of painting signs and selling them to earn a little extra money. Katy is a single stay at home mommy of a beautiful, smart, funny little girl. Who happens to have down syndrome. So for Katy being home with her daughter is very important for both of them. So anything extra goes a long way. Katy knowing Shani's love for art as well and seeing how it was helping her cope with everything, came to her with her idea. Together they came up with the name Bartlett Babies. All 3 of our children share the last name Bartlett and we are doing this for them. So they see that their mommies won't give up and will always be there for them. From there we got started. First it was just telling family and friends, then we created a facebook page and Now, we have our Etsy store up and running and could not be more excited! Every bit counts and a little goes a long way. We couldnt be more grateful and blessed for all the love and support we have recieved!!! So thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We hope you know how much time, effort & especially love goes into each piece we create!!!
