What We Do

Asphalt Sales: Basic Construction Company's two Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) approved asphalt plants provide quality mixes competitively priced F.O.B. (freight on board) to customers virtually year round at our plant sites in Newport News and New Kent County. Our mixes are made for almost any application ranging from VDOT projects to parking lots and driveways. Our support includes a full service asphalt mix design and testing lab at each plant site.

Earth moving and Grading: We perform with our own resources bulk earth moving, grading, stone base installation and top soiling for commercial sites, residential subdivisions, and heavy highway construction.

Water and Sewer Utilities: We install with our own resources both gravity and force main sanitary sewer lines, potable water mains/branches, and storm drains for commercial sites, residential subdivisions, roads.

Asphalt Paving: We perform with our own resources asphalt lay-down for state and municipalities, commercial sites, residential subdivisions, roads, parking lots, and large driveways.
