Tammy Tuso is a Native American California Native, spending her childhood years in Long Beach and San Diego County before moving to Oakhurst where she graduated Yosemite High School. She attended Fresno City College majoring in Liberal Arts. "I always loved the outdoors and love this area". Tom Tuso was born and raised on the East Coast (New Jersey, exit 42) then left for California at 18. "I wanted that California Dream, like everyone else". Tom graduated Fresno State in 1987 with a degree in Journalism/Advertising. Tammy and Tom met while working for Ducey's and The Pines Resort. They married on November 11, 1995. They started Bass Lake Boat Rentals, May 1, 1996. They have owned and operated it since, now in their 19th summer season. They have two children, North Anthony, born 1998, and Daytona Rose, born 2000. All four family members participate in running the business for a truly family atmosphere. "We enjoy the area and the business and want you and your family to enjoy it too."
