Baton Rouge Velodrome

The Baton Rouge Velodrome is a 333 meter bicycle track that is made for recreational and competitive cycling. Only track or fixed gear bikes are allowed to ride on the banked part of the track. There are currently 2 bicycles for rental at the BMX office in the park. The track is one of roughly 25 velodromes in the United States which makes it a unique venue to a special type to cycling.

Track cycling is very safe, fun, and worth a try!
