Bayes Achievement Center

BAC is licensed by the state of Texas (TDFPS), approved by Texas Education Agency, and accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). BAC was established to reinvent residential treatment by de-institutionalizing the experience. This mission is carried out by a two-fold process of normalization and unconditional care. The premise behind normalization is that children and young adults have the best chance of positive future outcomes when they can live in and learn from a normal environment, neighborhood, and community. Unconditional care involves extending the right of care and treatment to high-risk individuals who may have been discharged from previous placements due to the severity of their behavior. We at BAC believe that children and young people need loving care regardless of their behavior, and rejecting them from care and treatment for misbehavior worsens their condition and society's ultimate burden.
