Bayou Bird Hunts

Bayou Bird Hunts offers quality half-day quail hunts in open field and woodline settings during the Louisiana pen-raised bird season, which runs from October to April each year. We are entering our second season and will have plenty of birds and plenty of fun opportunities! Call us about dove hunts as well!


Come join your host, Rusty, with retrievers Butch and Zeek and enjoy some great shooting in a relaxing country atmosphere. Combine your quail hunt with other activities that you may be having in the area.

We are located at 2898 Bonner Ferry Road just north of Bastrop, La. in Morehouse Parish. We are on the way to Bussey Brake Reservoir. Hotel accommodations are available just a few miles away as well as several great restaurants
