"For me personally it has always been about creating quality makeup work combined with a loyal customer base. One bit of information I HAVE learned & want to encourage you in is to WEAR naturally-based products on your skin. I tell my clients that if you cant eat your makeup & it not make you sick, don't put it on your face! I can personally create custom foundational makeup from scratch for my clients & their friends/family/etc... (Specific to their exact skin tone, their depth of coverage needs and skin type additives for moisture, balancing for oil issues, spf, etc) with Motives Cosmetics.

In fact, my very first client for custom blending was an esthetician who later became my biz partner! Foundational makeup has always been my biggest challenge because of the many undertones and colors in my own skin as well as many of my clients, so when I discovered a way to be able to create foundational makeup from scratch and customize it for each client, I quickly realized this is a niche that is NOT currently being filled in the makeup or bridal makeup industry. Brides would sit in my chair & LOVE the way their skin looked but could not ever look that way again because I had mixed so many separate foundations together from different lines to get their prefect match & finish.

I am NOW able to provide to my clients (& any woman who wears makeup) a perfect & exact match to her skin for her foundational liquid or mineral powder as well as placing attitudes in the blend to improve their skin . Once I discovered that was possible, I found a brand-new passion in my field! Of course I still work as an application artist & apply makeup services for special events, etc. but with providing custom foundational makeup services, I now can help EVERY woman have a solid "foundation" that will help them to bring their best face forward!
