14 year Anniversary Celebration!

Now in our 14th year, BBQ on the River and Fly In returns with a beautiful venue and fun-filled events for young and old. We look forward to another successful contest filled with tough competition and the aroma of smoked meats filling the air. This year’s event will carry a Patriotic theme with Military presence at hand. We will be conducting a “best decorated” Patriotic team space winner this year. We hope you have fun with this event. We are also offering an Early Bird entry fee. Contestants that turn in their entry form and pay by May 31st will receive $25.00 off their entry fee and choice of spots for their team.
Your BBQ on the River and Fly In committee is once again hard at work on the 14th annual BBQ contest in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. This year’s dates will be August 15th & 16th, 2014. We have many exciting activities planned for all ages to enjoy. These activities include live performances by JD & the Chasers and Liverpool- A Tribute to the Beatles, kids play area, a beer garden, flyovers, Remax hot air balloon, vendors, a Military parade of vehicles and troops, and fireworks. Contestants and spectators look forward to bringing their families and friends to Excelsior Springs for this event.
