Although, I have enjoyed many different kinds of crafts over the years; from painting in acrylics to watercolors to ceramics to and wreath making and refinishing furniture, I have tried them all. My interest in beading began when I wanted to make some Christmas decorations. I was in one of the local craft's store when I saw and purchased a kit for making angels out of beads and safety pins along with a couple of kits for making beaded snowflakes. Needless to say, I fell in love with beading from that point on.
It was during a trip to Duluth when I bought I bought a daisy chain bracelet made entirely of beads. I studied it and thought; if only I could learn how to do that myself. When I returned home I borrowed a couple of books from the local library and as well as purchased some beads, thread and supplies at a craft's store. Basically, I am a self-taught beader.
A few years later, beading has become more than a hobby of mine. It has become a passion for me. I can either listen to music or watch TV as I bead the day away. I like the challenge that beading offers as I learn and master new stitches. That sense of accomplish is extremely rewarding to me. I also like putting together various color combinations that I use while creating a piece of jewelry.
I will be posting several photos of the jewelry that I've made along with a brief description of each item. If you have any questions or would like to contact me about purchasing some jewelry from me, feel free to leave a comment, send me a private message or email me at: beaditudebydaisy@gmail.com.
