People need legal representation for a wide variety of reasons.

Many times, there are complicating issues, such as addiction, unmet or unidentified mental health needs, unresolved trauma, or just immaturity. These issues are not an excuse for criminal behavior, but they can help your attorney understand how best to help you and to maximize your chances of staying out of the court system moving forward.

There is nothing more satisfying to me as an attorney than seeing a client resolve a legal matter and move into a sober, healthy, law-abiding life and restore relationships that had been lost.
