Although we keep our numbers small in comparison to larger producers, we work hard to produce a quality animal worthy of your table by providing it with a healthy and happy life during its time with us.
All of our animals are primarily pasture raised. But when Mother Nature does not hold up her end of the bargain, we will provide hay and grain as needed supplement.
Chemical use is kept to a bare minimum, so our animals are only vaccinated against Enterotoxemia (overeating disease). We do not spray or fertilizer our pasture land or personal property, everything is left to grow the way it pleases.
The lambs are encouraged to rotationally graze as much as possible, but their favorite location is the wooded area at the rear of the main pasture where they find wild black raspberries, tender sumac shoots and wild rose.
