About Bee Well Honey

Rich's first exposure to beekeeping was at the young age of 11, in Dorchester, Boston, where his grandfather, a Polish immigrant, brought his talent as a successful farmer/apiarist to the United States in 1963. Rich's love of beekeeping was evident as he helped care for his grandfather’s hives which set the stage for many years of learning. After his grandfather's death in 1993, Rich continued to manage the hives in Dorchester.

Twenty-five years later, Rich has added hives and expanded his hobby into a thriving business. With the growing demand for raw, local honey, Rich approached his friend, Aaron, to create a partnership. Aaron shares his all natural approach and together they care for many hives on the South Shore.

Rich resides in Pembroke and Aaron in Bourne, which allows them to maintain their hives. Recently, Rich and Aaron’s spouses and children have helped with daily operations. Rich and Aaron want to grow their family business and educate the public on the importance of bees. They believe honey is one of the purest foods, and their goal is not only to supply a quality product but also to explain the benefits of consuming honey and preserving the bees themselves.

Rich and Aaron look forward to many years of harvesting one of nature’s delicious offerings and will tirelessly support the production of honey.
