Beer Can Alley Okoboji

Beer Can Alley isn’t just a country bar in Des Moines & Lake Okoboji, Iowa! It has a lot more history behind it. "BCA" owners Rodney “Pete” Bell and Teddy Hawley are cousins who were born and raised in Vail, IA. In that small farm community was a dirt road on the north side of town where people looking for a sneaky good time would go have a beer or 12. That dirt road was called Beer Can Alley. So when Pete, Teddy, and managing partner Tommy Bomstad opened a country bar in downtown Des Moines, Beer Can Alley as we all know and love it, was born!
