The Beirut Times is a picture of everyday life in its community. It deals with happenings and personalities that are crowded out of its larger counterpart, and thus has a much more intimate relationship with its readers than the more impersonal mass media. It is like a family member and both its news and advertising are much closer to its readers. Generally it is read in a more leisurely manner so that its life is not one day, but three or four.
