Belle Mina UMC

Founded in 1894, this charming country church is full of character and history! Belle Mina UMC celebrated its 120th anniversary on April 6, 2014. Morning Star UMC was founded in 1906 and celebrated 108 years on October 19, 2014!

History was made in Belle Mina, AL when on Sunday, April 19th, 2015, Belle Mina and Morning Star Churches were merged together as one United Methodist Church. Belle Mina UMC and Morning Star UMC are now one church family! The merged name is Belle Mina UMC; reflecting our local community.

SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Traditional.

CLERGY: Pastor Scott Kowerduck.

DISTRICT: Belle Mina UMC is part of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From I-565, take Exit 2-Mooresville, turn North onto Mooresville Road - church is just over a mile on the right. From the US Hwy 72 area, go south on Mooresville Road into the town of Belle Mina. Church is on the left as you are leaving town.

WEDDINGS:
We are happy to perform weddings at our church! It holds about 80 people.
