Benchmark Service Asheville, LLC

Benchmark Auto Sales opened in Asheville, NC in October of 2010. We originally used a local franchised dealer for all of our service needs; however, in August of 2015, we found out that they were not charging us according to how we were told they would, and unfortunately, they were overcharging us deliberately. We had to make a change and had to make a change immediately. That was the beginning of the journey that led to Benchmark Service, LLC.

We spent the next six months trying to find shops in the Asheville area that could not only keep up with our incredible demand, but shops that could do so honestly and consistently produce great work. We found some shops that could do one or two cars at a time well, we found many more that could not, we found some that were good for just tires and brakes and we found a couple that could swap out an engine given enough time. However, we couldn't find one that could do it all in a timely manner and consistently produce great work.

In April of 2016, we decided that to get it right we had to do it ourselves. Our philosophy was then, and still is, that getting service work performed on your vehicle should not be excruciatingly painful. We believe you should be able to have your vehicle repaired quickly, and that it should be repaired the right way the first time. We believe in actually diagnosing problems instead of just throwing new parts at problems in hope the guess works. We believe you should be told accurately what your vehicle needs without trying to upsell unnecessary service. Ultimately, we believe in doing our jobs efficiently and taking care of our customers with integrity. Because of these beliefs, we have been able to attract some of the brightest and most gifted mechanics in town.

With that philosophy always guiding our decisions and great mechanics to help navigate the way, Benchmark Service. LLC has become a business we are very proud of and happy to now be able to offer to the public. We were only servicing our own cars until January of 2017, but we are now happy to be able to offer the best of the best to you, as well, going forward.
