Owned by David and Kristin Sewak, Berglorbeer Farma is a home-based (atop 3 acres) agricultural and sustainable living business intended to:
1. Grow and sell organically grown heirloom vegetables, herbs, eggs, and mushrooms for consumption at farmers’ markets within a 50-mile radius, to local restaurants, and directly to consumers from the farm.
2. Grow and sell native landscape plants at farmers’ markets, native plant sales, and directly to consumers from the nursery; design native landscape beds for installation by landscaping companies; work, through sub-contracts with landscape designers on such projects.
3. Educate consumers on local, organic farming and gardening techniques, sustainable living tactics, and increased self-reliance…”growing green and saving green” through on-site workshops, show/fair exhibits and presentations, books, newspaper and magazine columns, websites, social media, and other outreach avenues.
*Sale of eggs, on-site workshops, landscape design, and book publishing will not likely begin until sometime in 2013.
