Berk Tennis Academy

Jennifer Berk is originally from Southern CA, where she was ranked as one of the top junior players. Even when her family moved in 1999 to Scottsdale, AZ, she continued to pursue and excel at tennis. She trained at the iTUSA Tennis Academy under the world renowned WTA coach Rafael Font de Mora. She was ranked top 5 in the Southwest and played at the highest national junior level. Her hard work paid off when, in 2002, she was awarded a scholarship to the University of Portland, NCAA Division 1.

In 2009, she became a coach at the iTUSA Tennis Academy, and once again trained under Radael Font de Mora. This time it was focused on developing her teaching skills and learning the complete player development side of the sport. Jennifer ran the on-court clinics for ITUSA and was instrumental in developing the training programs that have been used.

2010 is where the Berk Tennis Academy makes its debut. It quickly became known across the state as one of the finest places for juniors and adults alike to be trained by both a passionate and well experienced coach. Becoming the best takes not only time, but training.

Jennifer is a coach with the knowledge and passion necessary to help any tennis player reach their goals. As she says, “It’s not only a sport, it’s a life style.
