Welcome to our Best Retrievers Whelping Page! A couple of years ago we started our Whelping Service to help our clients out and also provide a good quality breeding. We have a lot of nice dogs come in for training and their owners are interested in breeding them but don't have the space, time and not in the right circle of people to find the best homes.


The way it works:

Our Clients the owners come to us and let us know that they are interested in breeding their dog. We have them send the pedigree to us and also get all the health clearances (Hips,Eyes and EIC) that we require done on the dog. We will approve the breeding as long as the health clearances come back good, clear or excellent. At this point we will suggest a Stud that best accomodates her strengths and weaknesses. We take care of the breeding, send her home for the duration of the pregnancy.

At the 45 days, the owner will take her in and get an X-ray or Ultrasound done to confirm the pregnancy and give us a good idea on the amount of puppies she has. Then they will bring the female here a week before her due date.Best Retrievers Whelping Service will provide the pregnant female with a safe and loving environment. We offer around clock care for the female while waiting for her due date, during labor and until she is safely home. We will also take the Best Care of the puppies until they have been placed in their new homes.

Best Retrievers Whelping Service includes all the free advertising, phone conversations, emails, and the visitations of all the New Puppy Owners. We will place all the puppies into the best homes that are available.

Our Service makes sure that all the puppies have 26 month written health guarantee, have their dewclaws removed within 48 hours of delivery. We will have given every puppy a deworming at 2, 4 and 6 weeks of age. We will also microchip each puppy and give them their first round of shots at 6 weeks of age. As well, as socializing and introduction to birds, water and retrieving.
