We believe that Houston has the most untapped talent on the planet. BETA wants to be part of the discovery, training, development and production of Houston's talent.

Our foundation is improv, independent shows and video. Here, you can take a class, perform on stage and produce all sorts of media.

Many of the most established shows, collectives and performers in Houston started, trained and performed at BETA. Our goal is for you to be next.

A lot of people want to be famous, but few take a single step in that direction. Fewer still clock the hours training and performing to acquire the necessary skills to stand out.

In addition, BETA is working toward giving talent good reason to stay in Houston and build their performing, writing and producing careers here.

BETA can be a gateway. It can be your first (of many) steps toward a real career as a performer.
