Isaiah 56:7 These I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.

Founded in 1905 as a mission for Swedish immigrants in the Midway area of the Twin Cities, Bethany Baptist Church maintains a heart for serving and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with new immigrants. Located in the community of Roseville, close to the bustling downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul and only a mile from the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus, Bethany is uniquely situated for reaching out to the nations right here in our own backyard. We believe the ethnic, cultural and generational diversity of the body of believers gives visible witness to the reconciling power of Christ Jesus. In keeping with this global vision, the Bethany congregation also includes a relatively high number of career and short-term missionaries serving both locally and abroad.
