Bethel Baptist Church of Newton County, MS

Who are we here at Bethel Baptist Church? We are a conservative Southern Baptist congregation that believes in the One True Living God that sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ into this world to die for the sins of all those that would believe in and call upon His name. We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s inerrant, inspired, authoritative Word for mankind. We believe that after His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension that Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to abide in and indwell within the believer. We believe that salvation, thus eternal life, is offered freely to whosoever will “believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord.” We believe in the act of Creation as literally recorded in the book of Genesis: “In the beginning God…..”
These are just a few answers as to “who we are?” Besides honoring our God in Heaven through worship and service to Him through His Church; we desire to reach those who are in need of being restored to a right relationship with Him—which comes only through faith and repentance. Our question then for you is, “who are you and how may we assist you in finding
grace through faith in the Lord Jesus?”
