Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer

We have not always been Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer, the church started in a little country church back in 1950 by my great uncle Aaron and his family, and therefore was named St. Aaron House of Prayer. Years passed, and I was asked to return and pastor by one of the original members, Aunt Izona Weaver. So, God gave me a vision and a burden for the church and the community, and we moved back home and began the work that God had planned for us. After pastoring for a few years, the Lord gave me a greater vision for a bigger sanctuary that He promised to one day fill, which we are still believing. Although we were a small church with not that many members, we started with faith to build the new church. Thank God after 5 years of laboring for the Lord, we finally have the finished building, which God give me the new name, Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer. We dedicated the church back to God, and He blessed our obedience and allowed the church to be paid off only after 3 years. So we are very proud to be apart of this great work here now going on 12 years.
