Bethesda Rehab & Senior Care

Bethesda Rehab & Senior Care is an independent, not-for-profit senior healthcare housing organization that has been serving older adults since 1907. The continuum of care we provide includes sheltered care (assisted living), intermediate care, and skilled nursing care. We are Medicare and Medicaid certified. In addition to our many specialty programs, we also offer short-term rehabilitation, post-acute rehab, respite care, and adult day care.

We don't fear the aging process - we embrace it as a part of life. We believe in providing an energetic and vibrant community for seniors, where residents have choices, where they feel affirmed, and where they are purposefully engaged in a meaningful life.

We follow a household model with an emphasis on person-centered care. Bethesda residents are free to set their own schedules and are encouraged to take an active role in their Care Plans.

Our Life Enrichment Department offers a variety of social event, recreational activities, special events and outings, entertainment, and other programs 7 days a week.

Our goal is to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents. We are a faith-based organization, and an affiliated Social Ministry Organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. While we are proud of our Norwegian Lutheran heritage, we also welcome and celebrate all religious denominations. Our spiritual and pastoral care programs cater to the diverse spiritual needs of our diverse resident population.
