Music Ministry
The purpose of the Bethlehem #1 Missionary Baptist Church Music Ministry is to magnify and glorify Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:16-17) in everything we do! This ministry consists of a body of believers that come together for one specific purpose, and that is to lift up the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through song service. The vocalists and musicians of these choirs provide songs of hymns, inspirational, gospels, anthems, spirituals, and contemporary music. The music ministry is to act as a vehicle to usher in the presence of God. It is to set and establish an atmosphere that is conducive to worship, enabling (a) the presence of God to move freely among the congregation and (b) each person in the congregation to experience Christ on a personal level. The music ministry serves as an enhancement to the worship service, preparing the people for the delivery of the Word of God.

The Music Ministry of Bethlehem #1 Missionary Baptist Church, of Conway, South Carolina, is a Christ-Centered, dynamic, and diverse music ministry for the 21st century. The various choirs and multi-talented music staff lead our worship services with anointed music, beautiful arrangements, and Christ-centered lyrics.
Our theme is: “Excellence without Exception; Quality without Question: Committed to the Cause of Christ."

The Bethlehem #1 Missionary Baptist Church Music Ministry's primary purpose is to minister through vocal and instrumental music. It has a threefold purpose which is:
UPWORD to God through praise and worship
INWORD to the Bethlehem #1 Missionary Baptist Church family through being
OUTWORD to all nations through evangelism and ministry.
