Bev Smith Kia Fort Pierce

The Bev Smith Organization was founded in 1946, immediately after World War II. During the war, Bev Smith Worked at Ford Motor Company's plant, which had been converted from auto production to building B24 bombers. Mr Smith formed a friendship with Mr. Henry Ford who suggested he become a Ford Dealer. The first Bev Smith Store opened in Brighton, Michigan, and was staffed by 7 people. In 1953, Bev's wife Marie, became very ill and a move to Florida was necessary. Mr. Smith bought a Ford dealership in West palm Beach, and later his son Nick took over the operation of the business. In 1977 the dealership moved to Lake Park. On April 30th, 1992 Nick Smith decided to expand his already successful automotive business by purchasing what was formally known as Fort Pierce Toyota. He had great plans for the future of the Toyota dealership serving the Treasure Coast beginning with the plans for a new facility. On Nov. 14th 1995, Mr. Nick Smith broke ground on our dealership which we know to be Bev Smith Toyota. In 2006 Mr Smith Opened Bev Smith Kia in Fort Pierce just South of Toyota. Bev Smith Kia has been growing at a rappid rate as the Kia brand becomes one of the most popular brands on the road today.
