Bibb City is a neighborhood and nationally designated Historic District nestled in the city of Columbus, GA. The centerpiece of Bibb City was Bibb Manufacturing Company's Columbus Mill. In October of 2008, the already struggling Columbus Mill from competition with China factories was destroyed by a massive fire.
Architect, Hal Averett and Preservationist, Justin Krieg, transformed one of Bibb City's historical buildings into a community of shops, restaurants and artist studios. Hal and Justin's vision was to provide a space for small businesses and artists alike to work amongst the local community in an inspiring, renovated, industrial building. With 12 studio spaces, Fiddleheads and Mark Jones Market coming soon, there is no better place to shop, dine, work and create!
