Big Rude Recording Studio

Big Rude Studio is a full-service recording studio and music production team located on the historic Cape Fear River in beautiful coastal southeastern North Carolina.

We are the only facility in southeastern North Carolina with a grand piano on site - our 1927 Steinway Model M.

Employing the best of analog and digital technology, we strive to provide the best tools possible to guarantee a product that meets and exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Guitars:
How much time do you have? :) It's an excessive list. Is there an instrument you require for your session that you do not have? Let us know! We probably have it...or something that does the same job. If you're looking for something extremely special and unique, we have a selection of select instruments that are only available to studio clients as a rental.

If you project requires any specific equipment, let us know and we can arrange to have whatever is necessary on site for your sessions. Any necessary gear rentals will be at the expense of the client and would need to be arranged with the studio at least two weeks in advance to arrange for the receiving and storage of equipment.

If your session requires the use of our 1927 Steinway Model M, a piano tuning fee of $150 will be charged to the session and notice of use needs to be given no less than 2 weeks in advance.
