Imagine the beauty of Claude Monet's Giverny gardens so close to home. Just outside of Sierra City, California, Big Springs Gardens offers a beautiful
natural spring, streams and waterfalls, thousands of plants and flowers, two miles of walking trails, gourmet food and a replica of Monet's famous bridge over a rainbow trout pond.

Come and walk the extensive trails along the manicured greenery of Big Springs Gardens and then join us for a magical brunch Wednesday - Sunday.
The outdoor seating is positioned perfectly to gaze over a botanical explosion of plants and flowers surrounded by Monets pond.
Enjoy delicious buffet style dining in the garden with the breathtaking view of the Buttes.
We will open mid-June and close the end of September. If you are seeking a location for your upcoming wedding, anniversary party, reunion, corporate retreat, or any other special event please consider the gardens for your setting.

Special Weekday Buffet served Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:00 Noon. Reservations required. Fresh crisp green salads, fresh fruits, pasta salad, delicious BBQ’d salmon and Swedish meatballs. A special treat is our cheese board. Gouda from Holland, Havarti from Denmark, and a sharp cheddar from Oregon. Save room for dessert. Fresh baked Peach Cobbler, Carrot Cake and Brownies. Top it off with Ice Cream, hot fudge, caramel sauce and chopped walnuts. After all this, our only request seems to be where are the hammocks.

Saturday BBQ Buffet
Not your ordinary buffet. We go all out to make this one of the finest buffets you will ever enjoy.
Served at 12:00 Noon.
The smell of wood smoke, the sizzling filets of fresh salmon, mouth watering chicken, and delicious fall off the bone baby back ribs, baked beans and fresh sweet corn on the cob. Fresh crispy green salads and a large selection of fresh fruits. And wedges of imported cheese. For your last course we offer irresistible desserts. Unbelievably good Brownies, Carrot Cake, and fresh baked Peach Cobbler.

Sunday Buffet Brunch
One of our most popular days. Guests really relax with a long leisurely meal in which they return to the Buffet again and again to enjoy the wide offerings. This is a time to relax and enjoy – the time you saved for yourself.
The Buffet includes all the things you would most like to find. Premium orange juice, crispy bacon, link sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes plain or blueberries, hash brown potatoes, and grilled asparagus. After this you may want to return to the Buffet for luncheon items. Imported cheeses, several crisp green salads a wide selection of fresh fruits, smoked salmon and BBQ’d salmon. For your last trip to the Buffet we have an irresistible selection of delicious desserts.


We offer a large selection of beers, wine by the glass or bottle, and champagne. Our non-alcoholic beverages include coffee, ice tea, lemonade, and orange juice on Sundays for mimosas!
